Adventurers Day Nursery is a large, detached building with a large, soft surfaced outdoor play area. We have three playrooms to accommodate different age-groups, a messy playroom and a soft-play room which is available for all age-groups to enjoy!
Meals and snacks are prepared by our trained chef in our kitchen! We also have a large carpark which can be used for drop off and pick-up times. Located in the carpark is a small shed which can be used to store collapsed pushchairs, scooters and car seats if needed!
We offer a wide range of stimulating activities that continue outside, playing outside is crucial for development.
With our two large soft surfaced play areas and our vegetable garden at the rear of the building, it helps children develop motor skills, improve health, boost mood, and aids social, emotional, and intellectual development.
It's a space we enjoy all year round with the children from playing on the equipment, riding bikes, trikes to playing in the sand pit and experimenting with water play.
We provide a well-balanced and nutritious menu which is prepared by our trained chef.
Children are offered a mid-morning snack of fresh fruit and milk to drink, and two-course lunch to fuel their busy and fun-packed day! Please let us know if you would prefer to bring a packed lunch. Breakfast and tea are also offered, depending on your needs.
We cater for all dietary and allergy requirements and will adapt our menu with you during the settling in process to accommodate these needs. The children have access to and are offered water to drink throughout the day.

We offer a fully inclusive practice where all children are given the opportunity to participate in activities which will help them develop towards the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
Our practitioners are trained to a high standard and hold a range of qualifications, skills and knowledge. We are experienced in supporting children with SEND and designated SENCO’s attend regular networks and training to keep up to date with their knowledge.
Our baby room is bright and colourful and has a range of toys and resources to meet the needs and developmental stages of all children.
Strong emphasis on the prime areas of development to help children develop the foundations needed to enable them to thrive and achieve their full potential.
Lots of time spent with practitioners for cuddles, singing, stories, developing positive relationships and the foundations for early language development.
Practitioners work closely with parents and carers to ensure continuity of the routines you have developed at home with your child where possible.
Alongside our baby room is a sleep room and separate nappy changing area.
The babies also have access to a fully enclosed soft surfaced outdoor play area to continue their learning and fun!
Our toddler room is busy with lots of activities and is always a fun place to be.
